My Story
I write for page, stage, and screen - and I coach writers who want their stories to land with emotional force.
For more than 25 years, I’ve worked in storytelling across theatre, broadcast media, and one-to-one coaching, always drawn to the same thing: characters with complicated hearts and something real at stake.
I earned an MA in Professional Writing and trained as an Author Accelerator Certified Book Coach, specialising in story development, character backstory, and emotional depth (the kind that makes readers feel, Oh. That’s me.)
My novel Behind the Seams reached the semi-finals of the BookLife Fiction Prize, scoring 10/10 in every category. My TV show No Strings Attached has aired on Channel 4 in the UK, and my first full-length play has been picked up by a theatre company.
As a coach, I’m warm, practical, and collaborative. We’ll build a blueprint you can trust, strengthen what’s already working, and turn the wobbly bits into the story you meant to tell without losing the joy that made you start.
As an Author Accelerator certified book coach, I am qualified to coach writers using Author Accelerator's strategy, methods, and materials, but I operate independently of Author Accelerator and am not affiliated with them.
